Getting Out Of The Kitchen

After patiently breathing my way through several days that topped 100 degrees, and Portland, Oregon on the horizon set for an unthinkable 107 today, it's time to slow my roll and rethink my route. Poor Dixie is straining, as is my wallet from unexpected campgrounds when Walmart parking lots were downright fiery. So here I sit in beautiful Wilbur, Washington, map spread before me, an ample portion of strawberry rhubarb cobbler to fuel me, and a new, cooler course to carve out.
