Bend Before You Break

First, a grateful shout out to the inventor of side mirrors that give a little, rather than snap right off. Dixie's a girthy gal and I was ill prepared for how strangely tight this gas station had laid out its pumps. A second round of gratitude to the woman from Colorado whose mirror glass I littered the lot with. She was patient and kind, and could give lessons on the perfect handshake. She and her driving companion wished me well, believing that I'll make it right in the end. And I will.
